On February 19th, local time, Xiamen University Alumni Association of Australia hosted the 2017 New Year’s gathering party in Sydney. More than 60 alumni and their relatives attended the gathering party. The wonderful performances, various Chinese cuisine and attractive prize made the activity exciting and joyful.
According to the host, the purpose of this activity was to give New Year’s greetings to the alumni of XMU and their relatives, offering a warm atmosphere as home. Meanwhile, the party also connected the alumni together as a platform for communication.
It is reported that XMUAA of Australia was found in 2006. Every year, the alumni association will hold various activities like New Year’s gathering party and celebrating meeting for the school anniversary, Mid-autumn Festival and Christmas, so that the alumni in Australia are available to promote the relationship with each other.
