In 2021, Xiamen University will celebrate its Centennial Anniversary. In 2015, "My Xiamen University Teacher" (first series) was launched, and the response was enthusiastic. In order to better review the history of the 100-year school, inherit and carry forward the spirit of the 100-year-old Xiamen University, continue to honor the glorious tradition of teaching and re-education, and present the 100-year celebration of the alma mater, now recruit the "My XMU Teacher" (Second Series) manuscript for alumni at home and abroad.
1. The Subjects of the Manuscript
Describe the most impressed image of teachers and moving stories about the study and life of Xiamen University, such as one story, one feeling, one lesson, or one activity, these will become a grateful expression to the teacher and become a spiritual manifestation of the alma mater. Topics include but are not limited to the above referenced topics.
2. The Requirements of the Manuscript
①Based on the non-fictional narrative style, telling stories and telling good stories. The style should be simple with the sincere feelings, smooth and readable writing and it can reflect the history, culture and unique temperament of Xiamen University. The number of words in 2000-4000 is appropriate.
②Welcome to provide 1-2 photos of teachers or photos taken with the teacher with brief text instructions. Paper photos will be returned after use, electronic version will be welcomed. Please select a file with a resolution greater than 300dpi and ensure that you have the copyright of the image. You cannot use the image downloaded from the Internet.
3. The Objects of the Manuscript
Both Individuals and teams can contribute. The teams include class groups, teaching groups, student organizations, school student organizations, volunteer service teams, social practice teams, student extracurricular activities associations, research project groups or research groups, party branches, league branches, sports teams, literary and artistic boutiques, etc.
4. The Use of the Manuscript
The organization will review and publish excellent manuscripts, which will be officially published in the name of "My XMU Teacher" (Second Series), or published in the newspapers, magazines or on the website. The editorial board of the book has the exclusive copyright, information network communication rights and transfer authorization of the manuscript. After the book is published, the certificate and sample book are sent to the author of the manuscript.
5. The Ways of Submission
①Please send the manuscript to the Xiamen University Alumni Association's mailbox: xyzh@xmu.edu.cn. Please provide the author's basic information: name, grade, major, class, current work unit, contact information and personal profile.
