On December 2nd, the signing ceremony for the Financial Aid Packages donated by XMUAA of Zhangzhou was hosted in Song’en Building, Xiamen University. Zhuang Wenhai, president of XMUAA of Zhangzhou, Wu Liangtong, executive vice president and secretary of XMUAA of Zhangzhou, Tang Guozhong, vice president of XMUAA of Zhangzhou, Lin Dongwei, deputy secretary of the school party committee, officials of Publicity Department and Secretariat of the alumni association and some students from Zhangzhou were presented at the ceremony. Xiahou Jianbing, the head of the Student Affairs Office was the host.
On behalf of the school, Lin Dongwei extended his sincere thanks to the affectionate donation of XMUAA of Zhangzhou. He gave his full recognition on the achievement it had made of connecting the alumni, helping the students with financial difficulties and public service. He said that XMU would strengthen the contracts and expand cooperation with it to speed up realizing the two centennial dreams of XMU.
On behalf of the XMUAA of Zhangzhou, Wu Liangtong expressed his appreciation to the school, indicating that the great love of XMU had kept inspiring the alumni to go on matching, and all the alumni were proud of their contributions to XMU’s “Double Tops” Construction.
In the name of XMU and XMUAA of Zhangzhou, Lin Dongwei and Wu Liangtong respectively signed on the contract. Later, as the representative of XMUAA of Zhangzhou, Zhuang Wenhai gave presents to The General Alumni Association of Xiamen University.
The financial aid packages was worthy of one million, and the students with financial difficulties were available to be subsidized in the next five years
