On June 13, 2015, highly supported by Xiamen University General Alumni Association and School of Economics, the reunion party for Class of 2001 of economics was held as scheduled. Professor Lai Xiaoqiong, Deputy Dean of the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics, associate professor Zhao Jian, Deputy Director of Department of Economics, attended the event.
In the afternoon, they gathered together and held a class meeting, themed as the most memorable memory and the most profound feelings about these ten years after graduation, full of gratitude to the alma mater.
Lai Xiaoqiong, the head teacher of economics base class of Grade 2001, and Zhao Jian, whose first students were the alumni of Class of 2001, attended the event at invitation. They were delightful to hear of that their students had got their positions in financial industy, real estate, and government agencies, most of which had become senior managers in their companies.
Alumni were all grateful for the education they had got from the university, and wish their alma mater a brighter future.
