On May 25th, Xiamen University held the launching ceremony of XMU Alumni Card on the 4th Joint Conference of Chairmen and Secretary Generals of XMU Global Alumni Association, and it received enthusiastic responses. Many alumni have asked for information on alumni cards. Here is the specific instruction:
1. The first alumni cards are provided to all conference participants. Production costs are sponsored by the host, Xiamen Alumni Association of XMU. Delegates who provide all information and materials needed have gotten their cards .
2. The application and production of alumni cards need support from Alumni Information Database. Together with Information and Network Center as well as Archive Center，we are now processing electronic archival information of alumni. This might take a few days and we sincerely appreciate your patience.
3. Procedures and rules on the application of alumni cards will be introduced under the support and cooperation from related departments and alumni associations in different localities. Please pay attention to the website of XMU Alumni Association and follow the Wechat public account “XMUer”.
Alumni Card is an effective approach to serve all alumni. The Secretariat will continue to forward this work. Thank you for your attention and support.

Notes: Student cards of the newly-graduated will automatically become alumni cards with all functions. There is no need to apply for a new one.
